The therapeutic supports provided to program participants reflect the same level of attention to the needs and values of the individual as do the job training services available. NCIA's Career Development Center has a Registered Nurse on staff to administer medications and conduct nursing assessments. The nurse works hand in hand with a Master’s Level Therapist who provides clinical services as needed. Behavior treatment plans are implemented as needed. All staff members are trained in CPR and first aid and are certified in medication administration.

Additionally, participants have access to all of the supports and services offered by the NCIA Augustus Institute for Mental Health, which operates its Maryland clinic within walking distance of the Career Development Center.
