NCIA Gets Recognized at Maryland Work’s Employment Awards

On November 12, 2015, Maryland Works hosted their 8th Annual Employment Awards Luncheon to recognize individuals that have achieved their career goals despite having a disability, as well as honor service providers that secure employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This year NCIA received recognition for successfully delivering employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities through Maryland Works. Our Day at Hershey Park

With eager attitudes, a large group of our individuals gathered with excitement to enter Hershey Park for a day full of thrills, chills and of course Chocolate! Since Hershey Park is known for its attractions, waterpark, shows, and delicious chocolate, it’s no wonder that our individuals couldn’t resist the sweet temptation to visit this amusement park for the day.   What other amusement park can you go to, that has chocolate around every corner? NCIA Awarded HUGE Snow Removal Contract

NCIA is proud to announce that we have acquired our very first commercial contract worth $1.3 Million.  The contract was awarded to us by the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) to assist them with snow removal from select metro stations across the state of Maryland.  The contract will span over the course of five years. Our individuals are trained on how to properly remove snow and use tools to perform their jobs effectively.  New job opportunities include: shoveling snow, salting the walkways and operating front-loaders.
