Today the students enjoyed fresh snap peas picked from the vine and dipped in homemade Garden Herb Dip!
Students harvested snap peas the day before and enjoyed them today as a healthy snack. We chopped up scallions, mint, flat leaf parsley, thyme, and added it to a creamy mixture of greek yogurt and goat cheese. This one was a hit!
We brainstormed ideas of how else we could use the dip; baked potato topper, sandwich spread, pita spread, chip dip…can you think of a good use for this fresh and delicious dip? Don’t forget, all of our recipes will be in our YIT School Farm Cookbook!
