For 30 years, the National Center on Institutions and Alternatives (NCIA) has provided individual care, concern, and treatment
to children and adults who suffer from mental, behavioral, and emotional
challenges, and to individuals involved in the criminal justice system.
To date, NCIA’s programs and professional services have positively
impacted more than 20,000 people – the majority of whom live below
the critical poverty level and are unable to receive services from other
human service providers due to the severity of their disabilities.
With continued support from foundations, corporations, government agencies,
and individuals, NCIA is able to provide individualized and specialized
services to those in need.
Your contribution makes a difference in supporting programs that offer
education, job training, life skills, and supported employment opportunities
to youth and adults with mental disabilities.
