NCIA is calling you to follow the Governor’s advisory, which means:

– Cancel traditional Thanksgiving plans

– Stop having guests over—including family members you do not live with

– Stay home unless for essential reasons

– Avoid non-essential travel

The State of Maryland has now had 13 straight days with more than 1,000 new cases of COVID19, including 2,149 new cases in just the past 24 hours. Statewide positivity is now on the rise for the 8th straight day and hospitalizations are the highest they have been since June. With new restrictions being put in place around the state and nation, we again urge you to continue to follow our Safe In All Settings Protocols and wear your mask!

NCIA will be monitoring all of our residential properties during the holiday season and in the event of an outbreak, employee actions are subject to review.

The governor encourages college students who are planning to return home, anyone visiting an older relative, and anyone returning from any out-of-state travel to get tested.

He stated, “We are in a war right now, and the virus is winning. Now more than ever, I am pleading with the people of our state to stand together a while longer to help us battle this surging virus.”

You are not only responsible for protecting yourself, but you are responsible for protecting your individuals, fellow co-workers, and your families at home.
