It is with pleasure to announce that we have appointed a new member of the NCIA leadership team. We would like to introduce you to Ms. April Jensen, our new Executive Director of Adult Services!

April Jensen

April brings with her over twenty years of experience in management positions of non-profit organizations that provide services for youth and adults with developmental disabilities. Most recently, she has served four years as the Director of Residential Services at Chimes of Maryland. She has also served almost seven years as Director of the Adult Services Division of Linwood Center, Inc. located in Ellicott City, Maryland. Her accomplishments at these organizations have included her ability to increase revenue, maintain high occupancy rates, expand services and reach across the state of Maryland. She brings with her a unique ability to improve the overall quality of all the programs she managed.

April has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from California University of Pennsylvania. She also earned her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky.

We are very excited to welcome April as a new member of the management team and are confident that her expertise in the human services field will help us continue to grow our organization.
