Herb Hoelter was recently consulted for his expertise for a case in the Western District of New York. This case involved a first time offender who was charged with possession with intent to distribute opioids.

Based on background and mitigation factors developed by NCIA in conjunction with the attorney, Dominic Saraceno, the defendant received three years’ probation. The attorney stated, “NCIA was instrumental in developing background information and alternatives for presentation in this challenging opioid distribution case”.

This is a great success story in a challenging case and NCIA is proud to share its involvement.
