Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has announced additional steps moving forward with Stage One in Maryland’s Roadmap to Recovery that go into effect Friday, May 29 at 5 p.m.
When it comes to NCIA, it is important to know that community-based outings and activities are NOT permitted.
NCIA has been working hard to develop a Return to Services Plan, provide virtual services, and launch our Safe in All Settings Campaign so that in the future our staff and individuals served can safely reenter the community.
Jurisdictions are empowered to make decisions regarding the timing of Stage One reopenings. NCIA has homes located in Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Howard County, and Prince Georges County. Each county comes with different reopening procedures, timelines, and restrictions. NCIA is waiting for the appropriate time to relax our restrictions to keep our employees and individuals as safe as possible.
Governor Hogan stated, “Though we continue to make great progress, COVID19 is still very much a deadly threat. Thankfully, the vast majority of Marylanders are taking actions that will put us in a position to rebuild and restore our economy, and to finally defeat this invisible enemy.”
