“Since I came to NCIA I have achieved my life skills, I have learned to manage & maintain my attitude. I have become a very responsible young adult throughout my stay at NCIA. I have all resources, which is my family at home with support, as well as my second family at NCIA. There is a large range of support and good connections to help me better my life with a new start. Thank you NCIA.”
NCIA Youth Residential services are dedicated to providing a continuum of community based treatment and professional services to youth and their families who are most in need, including youth who are severely emotionally disabled, diagnosed with conduct disorder or chemical dependency, or who have mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, unresolved trauma, sexual victimization and/or perpetration issues.
Our small, alternative living units are designed to provide a therapeutic environment in which residents can feel safe and secure while they work to resolve trauma, change behavior, and enhance all necessary skill levels.
We seek to improve the lives of our young clients by reducing their time spent in foster care, strengthening and stabilizing their family support structure, and working collaboratively with local and state governments to foster positive community connections.
