Gobble! Gobble! The day before Thanksgiving, our students and staff at Youth In Transition School had a delicious Thanksgiving Feast. The students in the Culinary Program, along with their director, worked hard in the kitchen all morning long preparing turkey, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, greens, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, warm biscuits, sweet potato pie and cookies. Now that’s what you call a mouth-watering meal!
No one had room for seconds! The food was truly satisfying and there wasn’t one person who left the cafeteria without a happy stomach. Food is the key to the heart, and our students and staff are extremely thankful to spend this joyous time together.
It was a Happy Thanksgiving!
