NCIA Youth Residential services are dedicated to providing a continuum
of community based treatment and professional services to youth and
their families who are most in need, including youth who are severely
emotionally disturbed, diagnosed with conduct disorder or chemical dependency,
or who have mild to moderate mental retardation, unresolved trauma,
sexual victimization and/or perpetration issues.
Our small, alternative living units are designed to provide a therapeutic
environment in which residents can feel safe and secure while they work
to resolve trauma, change behavior, and enhance all necessary skill
levels.
We seek to improve the lives of our young clients by reducing their
time spent in foster care, strengthening and stabilizing their family
support structure, and working collaboratively with local and state
governments to foster positive community connections.
