NCIA honored Truist Foundation with the Charlotte Workforce Visionary Award during the Vocational Training Center graduation in Charlotte on July 17th. The graduation celebrated 35 students who overcame significant barriers to employment through NCIA’s Vocational Training Center, which offers free training in CDL, HVAC, and automotive repair.
The award honors bold, forward-thinking leaders, employers, funders, and partners who expand access to vocational training, economic mobility, and meaningful career pathways. Truist Foundation is being recognized for its continued partnership with NCIA and its commitment to advancing workforce training through an $80,000 grant to the VTC.
