Adult Career Development

The NCIA Career Development Program provides adults with developmental disabilities with life-skills training, recreation, social skills training, job readiness skills and individualized training in preparation for community engagement. The program offers active, meaningful days that include a variety of activities to assist individuals with augmenting a comprehensive base of skills from communication, socialization, physical, and behavioral needs to vocational skills that prepare them for competitive employment in the community. Daily services include a rotation schedule in which the participants learn about five important topics.
